This 2010 HAAS VF8 Vertical Machining Center is a top-of-the-line machine that offers an impressive range of features and benefits. It has an X Axis Travel of 64", Y Axis Travel of 40" and Z Axis Travel of 30". The Rapid Rate for each axis is 600 IPM, while the Max Table Load is 4,000 LBS. The Spindle Motor provides 30 HP with a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM. This model also comes with several options such as Probe, Chip Conveyor, Coolant Thru Spindle and Programmable Coolant. Upgrades includes spindle with 2 speed gearbox, Pre Wired for 4th Axis and Wireless intuitive probing system among others. Additionally it includes Renishaw wireless tool setting probe to ensure accuracy in machining operations as well as High Speed Machining with Rigid Tapping capabilities and Side mount tool changer (40+ 1). Finally there's the Remote Jog Handle which allows users to control the machine from afar. When originally purchased new in 2010 this model cost $212 360 but now can be found at a much lower price due to its age.
