Curt Doherty
CNCMachines Founder and CEO
Curt Doherty is the founder and CEO of CNCMachines and is a Central Florida native. His passion for entrepreneurship began as a teenager with the founding of a lucrative landscaping company. As a result of this initial success, he was hooked and immediately began seeking out additional entrepreneurial opportunities. He got into CNC machine sales and marketing a few years after graduating high school and has been in the business for over 16 years. To this day, Curt actively contributes on various leadership, sales, and manufacturing websites and has mentored and taught many successful sales representatives in the machine sales industry. His mission with CNCMachines is to contribute to the overall growth of the American manufacturing industry by helping machine shops upgrade their technology. On the weekends, you will most likely find Curt spending time with his wife and 3 children. While family remains his top priority, he also enjoys golfing and reading.

Michael Ford
Sales Representative
Michael is a South Florida native and a graduate from the University of Central Florida. He majored in Marketing and was a part of the Professional Selling Program before graduating in 2014. He has been in CNC Machinery sales for 5 years with previous experience in other sales industries. Michael loves all things “Landrover” and likes to take his own Landy off-roading on the weekends.

Colby Classon
Sales Representative
Colby is a South Florida native with a passion for helping people. He attended University of Central Florida with a major focused on business and entrepreneurship. He’s been working with buyers and sellers of CNC equipment since 2011. He quickly rose to the top of the sales ranks by simply helping his customers find exactly what they needed and being transparent with them. Colby enjoys his family time and playing outdoors with his 3 children. He is also an avid collector of custom fish tanks full of exotic coral and saltwater fish. He loves to show the office pictures of his fish everyday.

Rosa Soto
Sales Representative
Rosa is a Pennsylvania native, born and raised. She moved down to Florida in 2014 bringing over 20 years of customer service experience with her. She is new to the manufacturing industry but after attending IMTS, she has seen how truly integrated this industry is. Her goal is to continue in her role of helping manufacturers upgrade their technology one machine shop at a time. Rosa enjoys music and lives a crazy life with raising 4 daughters.
Jonathan Alonso
Marketing Director
Jonathan is Miami born but the Bronx raised. He holds a Bachelors in Information Technology with a Masters in Business and Marketing. Jonathan has over 14 years of experience in digital marketing including a published book regarding SEO in marketing. He has worked for the music industry, retail, travel, franchising, and is now in Manufacturing. Jonathan enjoys writing on his blog about marketing and spending time watching baseball with his wife. Mostly, you can find him next to the espresso maker in the office because he is madly addicted to coffee.

Matthew Mullins
Web and Development Operations
Matthew is a Central Florida native and a graduate of the University of Central Florida. In 2016 he graduated with a degree in marketing with direct training in sales and currently serves as one of the company's full time web developers. He has been working in the manufacturing industry for a little over four years. He loves the Atlanta Braves, building legos and cooking for his family and friends.
David Wilkes
Service Technician
David is a Georgia native and a veteran of the United States Army. After retiring from the Army, he started working as a machinist and has been working in the manufacturing industry for over 15 years. In his free time, he enjoys building and restoring antique cars with his son. David currently has a pilot’s license that he earned at the regional airline academy which he uses to fly on the weekends. Now as a CNC technician, David has used his passion of restoration to help bring used machines back to life.
Tim Thornsburry
Service Technician
Tim is a Florida boy, born and raised. He worked as an auto technician for over 15 years which gave him a strong background in engine rebuilds. He has been in his CNC Machine career for 2 years and loves the restoration process of machinery and the similarities the machines have with automobiles. Tim loves to spend his weekend time with his family and dogs but especially loves spending time with his son.
James Velazquez
Service Technician
James is from Puerto Rico and moved to the states with his family. He is a veteran of the United States Navy where he spent 10 years as an electronics technician. He has been in the manufacturing industry for almost 10 years. He enjoys tutoring his neighbors kids and spends most of his days reading. You can always find him with a new library book on his lunch breaks.
