Machine Overview
This 2010 HAAS VF3 has been a workhorse in our machine shop, offering a great balance of precision and versatility. It features a roomy 40-inch x-axis, 20-inch y-axis, and 25-inch z-axis travel, making it a capable option for a wide range of machining tasks.
The machine comes with a spindle speed of up to 10,000 RPM. It is driven by a 30 horsepower motor, which provides ample power for most jobs. The tool system is equipped with a CAT 40 taper for quick and easy tool changes.
The machine is equipped with a HAAS CNC control that ensures smooth operation. RJH (Remote Jog Handle) offers intuitive control, while WIPS (Wireless Intuitive Probing System) and Renishaw probes provide accurate measurements and easy setup. The standard 20-tool changer allows for rapid tool swaps, keeping downtime to a minimum.
