This 2021 EUROTECH TD15Y1350 CNC Lathe is available with a range of features that enhance its operation and functionality. It's equipped with a Fanuc 31iTB CNC control system, ensuring advanced performance and user-friendly interface. Key options included are a chip conveyor and a tool presetter that assist in the tool management and maintenance process, ensuring steady operations. The machine also has a tailstock and parts catcher, optimizing production workflow.
Additional enhancements are live tooling and a Y-axis, providing flexibility for various tasks. The lathe is designed with a 5-axis capability and features a Fanuc 32iTB with a 15-inch touch screen, offering advanced control and monitoring functionalities. For tool management, the Eurotech CNC Lathe features a tool life management function and a tool load monitoring function. It also includes a removable tool presetter for easy tool adjustments. G codes type A in Fanuc control allow various machining operations, supported by coolant through the steady for thermal regulation. Additionally, an automatic lubrication system ensures smooth operation.
The lathe has a 16-position servo turret and comes standard with a hydraulic cylinder in the main spindle, TD15 Autoblok VNK 102-46. Other key elements include a side exit chip conveyor for Z=1350 bed, a coolant filter with a scraper-type cleaning system, and a tailstock with hydraulic clamping that can be programmatically positioned.
It includes a BBM 175 3-jaw chuck on the main spindle with soft jaws for versatile material handling. High-pressure coolant pumps of 6 bar and 15 bar are installed, and a servo base for mounting steadies provides extra support. The B axis is fully programmable, allowing diverse machining operations. It also features a self-centering hydraulic steady rest, SMW-Autoblok model SLUX 2, suitable for a working diameter from 8mm to 101mm.
The Eurotech CNC Lathe is also configured with a quill with integrated bearings on the tailstock and a double foot pedal for ease of control. A universal interface allows connection to a robot via Ethernet IP. Finally, a high-pressure wash down system with 1,000PSI ensures cleanliness and longevity of the machine.
