Hand-scraped slideways

Miyano machines use finely-crafted slideways provide surface contact over a wide area that allows powerful cutting for hard turning operations while extending the life of the cutting tools. All slideways are hand-finished, with quality guaranteed by multiple inspecting technicians per part.

Maintenance for Miyano slideways is a breeze compared to those from competitors. Instead of replacing the guide set like in other products, all you need to do in a Miyano unit is just adjust the gibs. Some customers have been able to retain the same high accuracy in their unit for over 10 years by simply by adjusting the gibs themselves.

Rigid platform

CNC machine tool platforms are flat plates used for inspecting and measuring components. Used CNC machines with platforms sometimes suffer from deformation and inking due to age and wear.

The underside of Miyano platforms are ribbed, which promote stability and flatness over a longer period of time. Spindles and turrets that are mounted on this uniform surface minimizes heat distortion of the unit's mounting faces.
