This 2020 HAAS ST45L comes loaded with options like a Chip Conveyor, Tool Presetter, Tailstock, and Live Tooling, making it a versatile tool for your machining needs.
Key specifications include a swing over bed of 876.3 mm, a max cutting diameter of 647.7 mm, and a max cutting length of 2,032 mm. It features an X-axis travel of 431.8 mm and a Z-axis travel of 2,032 mm. The chuck size is 457.2 mm, while the bar capacity is 165.1 mm. The spindle bore is 177.8 mm with a spindle nose of A2-11 and a spindle motor of 41 kW. The spindle speed goes up to 1,400 RPM. This machine also provides live milling with speeds reaching 60,000 RPM.
The HAAS NextGen Control system integrates with features such as Big Bore and Long Bed, increasing usability with a cutting length of 80". It includes a 6,000 RPM upgrade for live milling and an extra-performance option that pushes the machine to 55 HP. Although currently installed with a 16", 4-jaw manual chuck, an 18", 3-jaw LMC hydraulic chuck (not installed) is included with the sale.

By July 2026, the machine had logged 347 hours primarily cutting steel, with a full replacement cost as equipped at $450,000.
Currently set up under power in-plant, it is available for immediate inspection and purchase. With a manual chuck installed, the package also provides an 18", 3-jaw hydraulic chuck and a hydraulic actuator.
