Machine Overview
This 2008 Hurco VMX42 Vertical Machining Center has low hours. It is running 2020 software (can be upgraded) and has the following options installed: Swept Surface, NC Conversational Merge, Select Surface Finish Quality, Tool & Material Library, Tool Change Optimization, Ulti-monitor, Advanced Verification Graphics, DXF, NC Productivity Package, Industry Standard NC, Ulti-Pockets, Insert Pockets, Rigid Tap, Helical Ramp. It also includes a Chip Conveyor and 4th Axis Rotary Table. The drives have been serviced and the entire computer system was rebuilt in 2020 or 2021 to bring it up to todays standards, the entire backplane board is new, CPU, Graphics, software etc.. have all been updated. This machine is currently under power and being used for odd jobs, but not to its full potential. The seller is selling it because they have transitioned a bit over the past year or so and require a 5 axis machine, and this being their oldest machine, it will have to go. They have quite a few Hurco’s here already and this one not being utilized as much. This 2008 Hurco VMX42 Vertical Machining Center is a great machine for anyone.
