Machine Overview
This 2022 TORMACH 1100M is a versatile CNC machine ready for your workshop. Equipped with a probe, it offers additional precision and ease during operations. This model is engineered to meet various machining needs while maintaining simplicity in use.
The TORMACH 1100M features a 4th Axis Rotary Table/Trunnion, enhancing its machining capabilities. The table size is 34 inches by 9.5 inches, providing ample space for diverse projects. It offers X, Y, and Z travels of 18.00 inches, 11.00 inches, and 16.25 inches respectively. The spindle uses an R8 taper and reaches speeds of up to 7,500 RPM, powered by a 2 HP motor. The machine is fitted with a 10-tool umbrella-style magazine, controlled by the PathPilot CNC system.
This machine's additional features include a full enclosure for better safety and reduced mess. It comes with a Microarc 4th Axis, a 3-jaw chuck with a 5C collet arbor, and an SMW 4th Axis subplate. For improved coolant application, it includes a Fog Buster Coolant System with concentrate. Saunders Machine Works fixture plate, a 3" x 6" machinist vice mini-pallet, and a digital passive probe are also part of the package.
The machine offers two tool height setters, a quick grip tool change post, and an SMW low-profile modular vice system. It comes equipped with three removable stops and a tension/compression tapping system. A full collet set is available, with sizes ranging from .0469 to .5, and includes extra sizes for flexibility.
A comprehensive tool holder set with 16 E20 collet holders is included. Various set screws are available: five .5, three .375, three .3125, and four .25. Drill chucks are catered for with two JT1, four JT2, and three JT6. The TORMACH 1100M also includes a QM modular steel milling head, a 1" shear hog aluminum milling head, and a .75" shear hog aluminum head. Two slitting saw holders and a brand new slitting saw set provide added versatility in grooves and cuts.
Finishing tools include a Superfly face mill and a 2" two-tooth face mill. Multiple inserts facilitate these tools’ use on both steel and aluminum. Additionally, a 6" machinist vice with a steel jaw set and machinable steel jaws, and a V-block set are bundled with the machine, completing its comprehensive tooling package.
