The tool magazine supports up to 20 tools, using a side mount tool changer with a swift tool change time of 1.75 seconds. The chip-to-chip time is 2 seconds, so you can minimize downtime between tasks. The control is managed by the Haas CNC Control system, which includes options like rigid tapping and Ethernet/LAN connectivity.
In addition to basic controls, this machine also incorporates the W.I.P.S. system, standard program memory of 1 GB, and HaasConnect for remote monitoring. Other valuable specifications include a convenience package, BT-style tool changer grippers, and a 45-gallon coolant tank, with the machine being ready for thru-spindle coolant use.
