This 2016 HAAS DT2 is a versatile and capable machine that comes equipped with the essential Probe option, enhancing its functionality and ease of use.
Designed for precision, this model is wired for a 4th Axis, including the 4th Axis Drive, and features the HRT-160 Rotary Table. The table size measures 34" x 15", providing ample space for various machining projects.
The machine boasts 28.00" of X-Travel, 16.00" of Y-Travel, and 15.50" of Z-Travel, offering substantial movement in all directions. With a rapid traverse speed of 2400 IPM and a cutting feed rate of 1200 IPM, the machine is set to tackle demanding tasks effectively.
It is equipped with a BT30 spindle taper type, offering a spindle speed of 15,000 RPM powered by a 15 HP spindle motor. The spindle-to-table top distance varies between 6" and 21.5", accommodating different workpiece sizes.
The tool magazine can hold up to 20.1 tools, facilitated by a side mount tool changer with a tool change time of 1.75 seconds and a chip-to-chip time of 2 seconds.
Operating on the intuitive Haas CNC Control, the machine includes features like rigid tapping, Ethernet/LAN connectivity, W.I.P.S. software, a 1 GB program memory, and HaasConnect for remote monitoring.
Additional specifications include a convenience package, BT-style tool changer grippers, and a 45-gallon coolant tank. Although it is ready for thru-spindle coolant use, it's vital to note that the probe is not included.
For efficient chip removal, a chip auger is incorporated.
